‘operationsindoor.com’: J&K CM Omar Abdullah on India-Pak tensions

“The recent actions by Pakistan, involving drone attacks targeting civilians in Jammu, were both alarming and unprecedented—echoing the kind of aggression witnessed after the 1971 war,” said Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. “Despite the provocation, our Indian defense forces responded swiftly and decisively, successfully neutralizing the threat. Several locations across Jammu and Kashmir were targeted, but our forces effectively thwarted Pakistan’s attempts.”

“It’s crucial to recognize that these hostilities were not initiated by India. The cycle of violence began with Pakistan’s unprovoked attack in Pahalgam, which claimed innocent lives. The onus now lies with Pakistan to choose the path of peace and prioritize the safety of civilians on both sides of the border.”
